Managing Your Profile

Your profile stores the personal information tied to your A vs B account: your picture and your name. Keeping this up to date helps your teammates recognize you in the member list.

Account Settings → Profile: your picture, display name, and account details.

Accessing your profile

Click your avatar or initials in the top-right corner of the page, then click Account in the menu that opens. You land on the Profile tab by default.

Profile fields

Name

Your full name, as it appears to your teammates in the member list, in experiment audit logs, and in email notifications. Edit the name field and click Save Changes to update it.

Email address

Your email address shows on the Profile tab but is read-only: you cannot change it from this screen. Your email is the unique identifier for your A vs B account. It is used for login, password resets, and notifications. If you need to change the email address on your account, contact A vs B support.

Email verification

Underneath your email address, the Profile tab shows whether that address has been verified.

Some features need a verified address, including the AI copilot and two-factor authentication. If yours shows as Not verified, click Send verification email, then enter the code from your inbox on the verification page.

If you signed in with Google, your address is verified automatically. Google confirms it before it lets you sign in, so there is nothing for you to do.

Job function

A short label describing your role, shown next to your email. A vs B sets this to one of four values: Marketer, Developer, Analyst, or Other. It shows as a dash if none is set. This field is read-only on this page and does not affect your permissions or access level; that comes from your role assignment, covered in your organization's member settings. To have it changed, contact A vs B support.

Member since

The date your account was created, shown at the bottom of the profile card next to your job function.

Saving changes

Uploading a new picture saves it right away; there is no extra step. To go back to your initials, click Remove picture under the picture; that also saves right away. Changing your display name needs one more click: edit the name field, then click Save Changes. Your updated name appears immediately across the platform for all teammates. The Discard Changes button reverts an unsaved name edit back to what is currently saved.
