Changelog
These are A vs B's biggest releases. Each one says what shipped, links to the full docs, and shows the date.
Analytics integrations releaseJuly 2026. The whole analytics system was rebuilt. Turn forwarding on one tool at a time. You can edit event names, and each one starts pre-filled with that tool's own style. Purchases now carry revenue. Consent categories keep a test running for a visitor who says no to tracking; that visitor is just not counted. Pro plans add server-side delivery to GA4, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or your own webhook (an automatic message we send to your server).
AvsB Copilot rebuildJuly 2026. The visual editor's AI copilot was rebuilt from scratch. It has a redesigned chat and writes real HTML, CSS, and interactive JavaScript. A network-consent check reviews any code that phones home. Every reply is one clean undo. Design matching is sharper, and you can see your AI-actions allowance live. Access now comes with your plan, with no per-project setup.
Org-scoped metrics releaseJuly 2026. A metric now belongs to your whole organization, not just one project. Build it once and reuse it everywhere. Share the important ones org-wide; only admins can do that. See where each metric is used, across every project. Pull a metric's data from a linked source project when your traffic lives elsewhere.
Similar products releaseJune 2026. A sixth recommendation algorithm shipped: catalog-based similar products. It works even for a product with zero traffic so far. This release also added the Recently viewed seed source and avsb.recs.trackView().
Recommendation experiments releaseJune 2026, retired 12 July 2026. A dedicated Recommendation test experiment type shipped. Each variation (one version being tested) got its own source, including a holdout (a group shown no recommendations at all). It also shipped a drop-in ribbon, plus coverage and position-bias panels. It was later replaced by a simpler mechanism: any experiment is now measured on its own, once its code calls the recs API.
Recommendations engine releaseJune 2026. A native recommendation engine shipped, with five algorithms: bestsellers, trending, new arrivals, viewed together, and bought together. It outputs as a dataset, enriches your catalog, chains fallbacks, and runs nightly.
Stats Engines releaseApril 2026. Three statistics engines shipped: Bayesian, Frequentist, and Sequential. Pick the engine per experiment. New Explore-under and Compare-engines views shipped too, along with pre-registered analysis plans and peek protection. Also new: ROPE, an A/A validation mode, and an engine-aware health score.
